Ignorance is bliss. True or False?

Sometimes it's better not to know things.
You won't get hurt.
"What you don't know can not hurt you."
'Bliss' doesn't always mean happiness.
But at least if you don't know that there's a problem,
You'll just continue being happy, right?

Problem is, what if you, let's just say, overheard this unpleasant thing?
You'll try not to get too close to the fact.
You'll try not to know.
You'll try to convince yourself that it's still a hope there somewhere.
You'll keep expecting.

Or what if you really think you've done your best,
People are saying those white lies
Telling that they're sure you'll be good.
Making you believe in yourself
Making you expect too much.

But at the end. You, yourself, see that the truth is a total disappointment.

Even if you can keep your hope high, time will lead us to the truth. Sooner or later.

So which one would you prefer?
Keep your ignorance and keep expecting for a false hope
Or finding out the truth sooner and move on?
